The Fundamentals of Grooming Level 1 is a hands-on, two-day workshop designed specifically for individuals transitioning from a bather/brusher position to a Grooming/Stylist role. This course provides foundational knowledge and practical skills tailored to working within The Terrier Group, with a focus on technique, breed-specific standards, and effective client communication. Students will practice on model dogs under the close guidance of two highly experienced instructors, ensuring personalized feedback and support throughout the course.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand breed-specific grooming standards and techniques for The Terrier Group with emphasis on the Miniature/Standard/Giant Schnauzers

  • Demonstrate proficiency in essential grooming preparation and finishing tasks

  • Develop confidence in shaping and styling key areas such as the head, framework, and furnishings

  • Enhance professional communication skills for interacting with clients

  • Receive direct feedback from expert instructors to accelerate skill development

Who Should Attend?

don’t mind, but many tug, pull, jerk, bite, and scream. There must be a
